What you get
Paint protection film adds a clear, sacrificial layer over selected painted panels. Choose coverage around how you use the car, from high-contact areas to a complete exterior, with the paint condition and exact film agreed before fitting.
Film helps protect covered paint from everyday abrasion and road debris. It reduces exposure rather than making a panel damage-proof.
Compare the chosen film’s appearance and surface properties, including whether it has a self-healing top coat.
Agree the panels, edge positions and preparation so the installation matches the finish you expect.
Find your fit
Coverage makes the biggest difference to a PPF quote. Start with how you use the car, then agree exactly which panels and edges the installation includes.

Discuss door cups, loading edges, mirrors and other areas that see regular contact. Small areas can be specified individually when a full installation is not the aim.
For everyday touch points and targeted coverage.
The bumper, bonnet, front wings and mirrors are common starting points for road-facing protection. Ask whether each panel is fully or partially covered.
Agree the panel list and visible edge positions.
A broader installation extends film across the agreed exterior panels. Paint condition, complex shapes and the chosen finish all affect the preparation and quote.
For owners who want coverage beyond the front end.
From the first look to the finish
The right result starts with a clear brief. Here is what to discuss before the work, and what to know when it is finished.
01
Check existing chips, repairs and surface condition. Film covers the finish you already have; any correction is agreed first.
02
Confirm the film, panel list, edge treatment and price before preparation and fitting begin.
03
Review the finish at handover and follow the fitted film’s drying, washing and maintenance instructions.
It will not repair missing paint. Existing chips and marks should be assessed before fitting so you know what will remain visible.
Properties vary by product. Some top coats can recover from light surface marks under specified conditions; cuts, deep scratches and impact damage are a different matter. Ask for the exact film specification.
Removal needs care and depends on the paint, previous repairs and the condition of the film. Have the surface assessed and use the manufacturer’s removal guidance.
