How it works
How we tint your Tesla
Teslas have more glass than most cars. On a Model 3 and Model Y we tint the side windows and the large rear glass, and can fit a light ceramic film to the glass roof to block its heat.
The rear glass on a Model 3 and Model Y is one big curved piece, so we shape the film to it before it goes on. The windshield can take a tint strip across the top 6 inches.
We tint Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck. Most take two to four hours; a roof adds time.

What happens when you book

Book your appointment
Call or send us your car’s make, model and year, and the work you would like. We give you a price and a time.

We clean the glass and cut the film
Your car comes into the bay. Every window is cleaned and the film is cut to the exact shape of your glass.

We fit the film
The film goes on from the inside and is pressed flat, so the edges sit neatly against the frame.
04
We check it with you
We go over every window with you and explain how to look after it before you drive away.

After we finish
Keep the windows up for a few days while the film dries; we will tell you exactly how long. Clean the glass with a soft cloth and a cleaner without ammonia.

On a Model 3 or Model S, the side and back windows must let at least 24% of light through. On a Model Y, Model X or Cybertruck, the windows behind the driver can be any shade.
Most take two to four hours. Adding the glass roof adds time.
